The Lost Orangery at the Euridge Manor Wedding

‘Oh my goodness these are absolutely stunning! You’ve managed to capture all the emotion, happiness and drama of the day – thank you so much!’
‘Just wanted to say a BIG thank you for capturing so many invaluable moments for us, even the unbelievably obscure ones like my nephew on the trampoline during my speech!’

Ah, finally I get to blog one of my favourites wedding of the year, the big day of Isabel and Rob at The Lost Orangery at the Euridge Manor in Cotswolds! It was such an honour and pleasure and so much fun to photograph this absolutely beautiful Wiltshire wedding.

Over last ten years I’ve had a pleasure of photographing over 200 weddings in London, Wiltshire, Cotswolds and all over the UK and abroad. I have seen so many beautiful wedding venues whether they were grand city buildings or impressive country estates or rustic barns.

When it comes to The Lost Orangery at the Euridge Manor, it must be right there at the top of my list. When I saw this stunning Cotswolds wedding venue for the first time I have to admit it took my breath away.

It is truly something out of a fairy tale. Gorgeous architecture, beautifully landscaped gardens and of course the water features. With its breathtaking boat lake with its turquoise green water, white ducks and grotto with columns and arches at the end it looks more like wedding venue somewhere in Italy or in a Disney movie! Especially with the views and the rolling hills all the way to the horizon.

All of this paired with an absolutely stunning bride and groom and good number fun-loving wedding guests created a gorgeous wedding day I will not forget anytime soon!

As a Cotswolds wedding photographer, I approached this Euridge Manor Wedding in the typical Blue Lily Weddings style. I photographed things as they unfolded, focusing on those precious moments of love and connection between the happy couple and their close ones. At the same time, I documented the grandeur of the Euridge Manor wedding venue and all the gorgeous surroundings and details so beautifully prepared and arranged by all the wedding team involved.

Most Beautiful Cotswolds Wedding Venue

Euridge Manor must be one of the most beautiful and unique wedding venues in the whole of the UK. That is clearly visible when looking through the photos from Rob and Isabel’s wedding. But even more so when you visit Euridge Manor yourself, taking in all the fairytale beauty of the place.

The Euridge House and Orangery lies right amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, just outside the quintessentially English village of Castle Combe. This exclusive self-catering venue hosts weddings, parties and corporate events.

Euridge Manor wedding venue is surrounded by ‘450 acres of private grounds, featuring Georgian-style architecture, sparkling water features, evergreen palm trees, a crumbling castle, exquisite topiary, rose gardens, lawns, cloisters, archways, a thatched boat house – and so much more. Ours is a space for escaping the everyday, for celebrating the extraordinary, and for watching the magic unfold.
This is what dreams are made of.’

With all its spaces and rooms available for wedding ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and celebrations, Euridge Manor can host any kind of wedding. From 40 people ceremonies around the cloister to over 200 guests in the ballroom. And up to 300 guests for wedding celebrations in the marquee in the lawns.

Wiltshire Wedding Photographer

I feel so lucky to be able to document so many beautiful weddings in Wiltshire and all around the UK and abroad. This recent one in Euridge Manor in Cotswolds was a great example of what a beautiful wedding should be about. Which is the celebration of the love and connection between the bride and groom and their close ones.

The bride and groom on the day were Isabel and Rob. I knew it is going to be a special day as we met a couple of times before. For the first time was at James and Annie’s wedding in Lincolnshire  (which can be found here) where Robs was James’s best man. Then we met again at their more intimate London wedding ceremony in the Old Marylebone Town Hall. After that, I was certain they are the kind of wedding couple I most enjoy working with. So much in love and centred around strong family values. And most importantly two super nice people who know how to celebrate their wedding day in style!

Wedding Day at Euridge Manor

We started the photography on the day with a few photos of the wedding venue with the surrounding area, the buildings and all the beautiful details. Then I was off to see the groom and his best man and ushers. So a few photos with the boys and off to see the bride and her bridesmaids. I always spend a bit more time with the girls and it was great those moments of applying the final touches and the build-up before the wedding ceremony.

The wedding ceremony took place around The Euridge Manor boathouse. The wedding guests were situated all around the lake overlooking the ceremony and the beautiful rolling hills of Cotswolds as the backdrop. It was beautiful and touching.

After the ceremony we managed to take a few quick photos of the bride and groom while the guests were lining up for the confetti shot. Then it was time for the drinks reception in the lawns and a few formal groups photos. The bride and groom sure made them fun as the music from the string quartet played softly in the background.

The wedding breakfast took place in the majestic ballroom. The wedding speeches by the father of the bride, the groom and the beat man were just perfect, emotional and full of laughter. Even the father of the groom had his say as the master of the ceremonies!

The wedding day was definitely a windy one and it wasn’t easy for the bride and groom to manoeuvre the boat around the turquoise lake fighting the gale. Luckily, everyone managed to stay dry!

The rest of the day went in a joyful atmosphere. The first dance, as well as the party afterwards, were a pleasure to photograph. It was so much fun seeing the groom running the bar and pouring all sorts of liqueurs straight from the bottle into the guest’s mouth!

The fire pits and the wood oven pizza kept the wedding guests warm throughout the evening.

Thank you, Rob and Isabel, for letting me document your special day. It was a true honour and pleasure, and so much fun! x
