'You completely captured the atmosphere and relaxed vibe of the day. We never felt any pressure from you, and you were so good at weaving in and out of the action (at points we forgot you were even there...!). The photos really do tell the story of our wedding and we can't thank you enough for all of your hard work. We will cherish them for the rest of our lives...
...we just wanted to say thank you.

North London Wedding Photography

Oh, how I enjoyed being a North London Wedding photographer at a recent wedding in Walthamstow. The bride and groom on the day, Jen and Nigel, as well as their families and wedding guests, created absolutely unforgettable North London wedding day. And it was such a joy to photograph it in my documentary, unobtrusive Blue Lily Weddings style!

Photographing a wedding in London is always a joy for any photographer who likes working in urban settings. With beautiful architecture as a backdrop. For me as a Blue Lily Weddings London photographer, documenting a wedding in North London is even more special. North London is such a quintessential part of the city. And being a North London wedding photographer is one of the things I enjoy most about my job.

I think especially photographing a wedding in Walthamstow (were the band E17 was born!). This part of North London is just such a great background for wedding photography. With narrow streets and many traditional quirky pubs and shops where the local community is thriving.

North London Wedding Photos

I approached documenting this beautiful North London wedding in the signature Blue Lily Weddings style.

The goal was to create a set of beautiful and emotional photos telling a full story of the day. The focus was as much on the big, key wedding moments as much as on the smaller in-between ones. They made the wedding unique and personal to the bride and groom. By looking through those North London wedding photos they would be able to feel as if they were there, reliving the moments of the wedding day and coming back to those beautiful emotions and feelings they were going through at the time.

Orford House Wedding Venue

This North London Wedding took place at the awesome Walthamstow wedding venue - the Orford House.

Orford House is a neo-Classical building, built around 1803 on Orford Road in Walthamstow.  It has a fascinating history, documented by the Walthamstow Village Resident Association.

In 1921 the Orford House opened as a Social Club and has played an important role in Walthamstow life ever since. The club is owned by the members and is a non-profit organization.  Members benefit from the events we host all year round, the bowls green and snooker tables, and, of course, the bar.  Their function room makes for a great space for weddings, birthdays and discos.

Orford House Wedding Photography

The wedding photography on the day started at the bride and grooms North London house. Just 5 minutes away from the Walthamstow wedding venue-the Orford House. That's where Jen and her bridesmaids, as well as the mother of the bride, were getting ready. As soon as I entered the house I felt the joyful atmosphere. I knew then it is going to be an awesome wedding day to photograph. And I was so right! This North London wedding was definitely one of my favourites in the whole wedding season.

After seeing the girls I went to see the groom and his groomsmen. Accompanied by the father of the bride they were applying the final touches and having a pint in the local pub, the Queens Arms. Then it was back to the girls to photograph the wedding dress being put on. So many beautiful emotions from the bride, her bridesmaids and mum. I think I shed a little tear myself!

A true bonus was to photograph the girls walking to the Orford House through the streets of Walthamstow with reactions from random local people on the way.

The groom was already waiting at the Orford house together with his best man by his side and all the wedding guests being seated. The wedding ceremony was beautiful. Then it was outside confetti, drinks reception and a few formal family shots. Even those were so much fun to photograph. Check out the girls orange jumpsuits, they absolutely rocked it!

After the wedding breakfast and moving speeches, it was time to photograph the first dance and the awesome dancefloor moves of the bride and groom and their family and friends.

The evening food were the Walthamstow (hot) dogs, absolutely delicious! All in all a perfect wedding day filled with love and laughter and a few (happy) tears. A true delight for a North London wedding photographer.

Thank you so much, Jen and Nigel, for letting me document it for you, you absolutely smashed it guys! xxx

'Oh Marek these are absolutely fantastic!!! We have just finished the complete set and they are absolutely wonderful...thank you for capturing our family, friends and the day SOOOOO perfectly!!!'

Stokes Farm Barn Wedding Photographer

Last summer I had an enormous pleasure to be a Stokes Farm Barn wedding photographer. It was at a beautiful Berkshire wedding of Matt and Jess. And it was truly one of a kind. So full of love, laughter and a lovely summer vibe!

I love photographing weddings in Berkshire. And the Stokes Farm Barn is such a perfect wedding venue for anyone looking to get married in this part of the UK.

Stokes Farm Barn Wedding Photos

Photographing a wedding at the Stokes Farm Barn was indeed great fun. I approach it in a typical Blue Lily Weddings style.

The goal was to document the wedding day in a natural and beautiful way and to make the photographs reflect that. All the big moments, but also all the small in-between ones. They are often even more important, bringing out the uniqueness of the wedding day and making it special and personal.

This set of photos should make everyone looking through them feel as if they were there. And for anyone who attended the wedding to bring them back to those unforgettable moments and feelings, reliving them all over again.

Berkshire Wedding Photographer

Photographing weddings in and around Berkshire is pretty much always a great experience. Berkshire is, in fact, the county where I photograph most of the weddings I work with. It must have something to do with a good number of beautiful wedding venues dotted around this lovely county. And also a large number of relaxed couples looking for someone to photograph their wedding day in a documentary and beautiful way. And that is how Blue Lily Weddings usually gets found!

Stokes Farm Barn Wedding Day Photography

Matt and Jess's summer wedding day was everything a wedding photographer could ask for. A beautiful, loving couple surrounded by a bunch of relaxed and fun-loving wedding guests and families.

We started the photography on the day with a few photos of the groom getting ready with his groomsmen and best man in a nearby hotel. Funnily enough, I was able to tell where the groom's hotel room would be by following the sounds of laughter form a few minutes away! So, even before meeting the groom and his groomsmen I knew it going to be a great wedding day with many photos to show for it. And I wasn't mistaken!

After seeing the boys and a few fun photos of them just having a pint and putting the buttonholes on, off I was t see the bride and her bridesmaids.

The atmosphere in the bride's parents house was also joyful and full of laughter. Jess, the bride, was getting ready surrounded by her maid of honour, her bridesmaids as well as the mother and father of the bride.

After a few photos of putting the makeup and the beautiful wedding dress on, we were on our way to a nearby church for the wedding ceremony. The church where the wedding ceremony took place was a modern one and really great to photograph with its interesting shapes, lines and angles. But most importantly the atmosphere was beautiful and emotional. After the vows, exchange of the rings and of course the first (and second!) kiss the newlyweds signed the register. Then it was the confetti part which is always great to photograph and off we were to the main wedding reception venue of the day-the Stokes Farm Barn.

Stokes Farm Barn Wedding Venue

The rest of the wedding day celebrations took place at the beautiful Berkshire barn wedding venue, the Stokes Farm Barn.

The Stokes Farm Barn is a family-run venue situated in Wokingham, Berkshire. The cosy and gorgeous Victorian timber barn is full of character and embraces every occasion. The beautiful oak beams and a neutral colour scheme complement every party theme. The barn is set on a fully working farm with various animals in the surrounding fields - a real attraction for younger guests! There were duck and geese in the nearby pond and cute and curious ponies in the paddock next door. The Stokes Farm offers all of the guests exclusive use of the barn and prides themselves in excellent service.

The weather on this Berkshire summer wedding day was just perfect-sunny and warm. As soon as we arrived to the Stokes Farm Barn we started with photographing the drinks reception. Then it was a few group photos with the bride and grooms family and friends. The wedding breakfast, which was a roast, was also great to photograph. Especially all the funny aprons that each carver received and other wedding guests reaction to them!

Then we moved to the wedding speeches, first by the father of the bride, the groom himself and the best man. I have to say that, at least, in my opinion, the father of the bride toped it. I haven't seen so many wedding guests laughing so hard in a very long time!

After that, it was the traditional cutting of the wedding cake and the first dance, both always great to take photos of. And of course the party with so many crazy dancefloor moves!

All throughout the day, the Stokes Farm Barn served as a gorgeous backdrop to the wedding photos, making my job that much easier.

We even managed to sneak out for a few minutes with the bride and groom to take a few photos of just the two of them in a soft late afternoon summer light. And they absolutely rocked it!

St Paul's Cathedral Wedding-St Bart's Brewery Wedding Reception

'The photos are absolutely perfect, thank you so much! You really did such a great job we are so happy with them! Thank you!!'

St Paul's Cathedral Wedding Photographer

Recently I had an enormous pleasure to be a St Paul's Cathedral wedding photographer. Photographing a wedding at St Paul's Cathedral has been one of the things I wanted to do as a London wedding photographer ever since I started shooting weddings. This iconic London building is one of the grandest and most beautiful cathedrals in the world. And, as a wedding venue to photograph, I think is high on the bucket list of most wedding photographers shooting weddings in London and the UK.

When Natalie and Luke contacted me some time ago to ask whether I would consider documenting their St Paul's Cathedral London wedding, there was no hesitation on my part. 'Yes' could be the only answer!

I photographed this wedding at St Paul's Cathedral as I would with any other wedding I document in London and beyond. The Blue Lily Weddings approach is to document the wedding day in a natural and beautiful way. The resulting set of images tells the complete story of the day with all the 'big' important moments as well as all the small interactions between the bride and groom and their wedding guests. The goal was to document people simply being people with all the emotions, laughter and tears of the wedding day. Anyone looking through those wedding photos should feel as if they were there, transported back to this beautiful day.

St Paul's Cathedral Wedding Photos

Wedding at St Paul's Cathedral is such a grand occasion. And to photograph one is a great honour and privilege. There are some restrictions and taking photos during the wedding ceremony is not allowed. But there are still plenty of opportunities for wedding photography showcasing the splendour and beauty of this magnificent London wedding venue, just before and after the ceremony, which we took advantage of as much as we could.

Here is a selection of eighty-something photos from this gorgeous St. Pauls Cathedral wedding, enjoy!

St Paul's Cathedral Wedding Venue

St Paul's Cathedral must be one of the most amazing wedding ceremony venues in the world. For a wedding photographer, it really doesn't get much better than this.

I remember arriving for the first time in London over 20 years ago and falling in love with this impressive building as a budding architect and photographer.

Its beautiful dome is visible from so many different places, like the south bank of Thames river or even Richmond park which quite a distance away!

St Paul's Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral, the seat of the Bishop of London and the mother church of the Diocese of London. It is located on Ludgate Hill at the highest point of the City of London and is a Grade I listed building. It is over 1400 years old and was a central point in the city of London for many hundreds of years in the past.

It's a facade, gorgeous interiors and impressive dome are truly one of a kind. Such a beautiful backdrop for wedding photography in London.

St Paul's Cathedral and ST. Bart's Brewery Wedding Day Photography

Now, about the wedding day itself. The bride and groom on the day, Natalie and Luke, are just such a lovely couple. Beautiful inside and out and so down to earth. Together with their wedding guest, the family and friends, they created an unforgettable wedding day full of happiness and joy. And so much laughter!

Despite the wedding ceremony taking place at the grand St. Pauls Cathedral, the atmosphere was very relaxed and joyful from start to finish.

We started the wedding photography on the day with a few getting ready photos of the bride and groom to be at a nearby hotel. It was great to document the build-up before the wedding ceremony and photograph the precious moments between the soon newlyweds and their family, groomsmen and bridesmaids. And of course, the moment when the father of the bride sees his girl for the first time in her wedding dress, was a must!

The famous London wedding white cab took the bride and the father of the bride to St. Pauls Cathedral, where the groom, his best man, as well as all the guests, were already waiting. The wedding ceremony was beautiful, and when it finished everyone was off to the wedding reception venue-St Bart's Brewery located right by the London Smithfield Market.

St Bart's Brewery Wedding Venue

St. Barts Brewery is such a perfect wedding venue for anyone looking to get married in close proximity to the City of London. It is a traditional English Pub, with high ceilings and chandeliers, often hosting comedy and live music upstairs.

With plenty of space outside and inside, and lovely light coming in through the large windows, it was a great pleasure to photograph a wedding at ST. Barts Brewery.

Most guest simply walked from St Paul's to the wedding reception as it was not far. We even bumped into one of my favourite comedians, Hugh Dennis, on the way. What a nice surprise!

As soon as everyone arrived at St Bart's Brewery the bride and groom greeted everyone with Champagne and the wedding guest were seated at their tables. The wedding breakfast was delicious. It was followed by the speeches by the father of the bride, the groom and his brother, who was also his best man. They were funny and moving, just as should be.

The rest of the wedding day flowed in a joyful and fun atmosphere. There were the traditional parts of the wedding day, like cutting of the cake, the first dance and the awesome party which lasted way into the evening. Some of the dancefloor moves by the bride and groom and their guest were simply off the charts! We even managed to sneak out for a few minutes with the new husband and wife to get a few photos of just the two of them around the Smithfield Market and the surrounding area.

Thank you so much, Natalie and Luke, for letting me document your beautiful wedding day. It was a true honour and so much fun!

Colville Hall Wedding Photographer

It was so much fun to be a Colville Hall wedding photographer at a recent Essex wedding of Louise and Bobby.

Colville Hall is such a beautiful wedding venue. It is simply a complete package for anyone getting married in Essex. Colville Hall has beautiful buildings and rooms, full of character and a rustic barn charm. The wedding venue is also surrounded by lovely grounds with wheat fields, gardens and water features.

All of those make for a perfect backdrop for anyone looking to create beautiful wedding photography at this stunning Essex wedding venue.

Wedding Photography Essex

I love photographing weddings in Essex, it is such a beautiful part of the UK. With its beautiful landscapes and so many different wedding venues, Essex is a perfect county to choose for your wedding celebrations.

The recent Essex wedding of Louise and Bobby was a perfect example of what a great wedding day should be about. And that is simply a celebration of love and connection of two people surrounded by their families and friends.

I approached my Colville Hall wedding photography on the day in typical Blue Lily Weddings style. I focused on documenting the events of the day in an unobtrusive way, photographing all the big moments as well as the small ones in between. The key was to create a complete story of the wedding day.  One where the bride and groom as well as the bridal party and all the wedding guests just enjoy their day and have fun.

The goal was to tell a story with a beautiful set of wedding photographs that will make everyone looking through them feel as if they were there, bringing back memories and emotions from this beautiful wedding day.

Colville Hall - the Essex Wedding Venue

Colville Hall is such a perfect wedding venue to photograph. It has anything a bride a groom could wish for. Especially when organising a medium to a large wedding. It is located in the village of White Roding on the Essex/Hertfordshire border.

The ceremony barn is very spacious and can host a wedding ceremony for up to 250 guests. With that in mind, it still has a cosy feeling to it with gorgeous wooden beams and timber wall. It's also great for a drinks reception in case it's raining outside.

The wedding barn is another lovely space at Colville Hall. It is fairly large and with plenty of light coming through big windows.

Colville Hall also offers guests accommodation and first-class catering for their customers.

Wedding Day Photography at Colville Hall

Louise and Bobby's wedding at Colville Hall was such a pleasure to document. We Started wedding photography on the day in the Saracen Hotel in a nearby village. That is where the bride and groom were getting ready.

So a few photos of the groom to be with his best man and ushers and off I went to photograph the girls. The bride to be was getting ready with her bridesmaids and flower girls in the atmosphere of joy and laughter. There were also a few tears, especially when the father of the bride saw her for the first time at her wedding dress-such a beautiful moment!

Then everyone moved to the Colville Hall-the main wedding venue for the day. The wedding ceremony took place at the Ceremony Barn with just over 100 wedding guests.

Then it was drinks reception outside and the wedding breakfast as well as the speeches at the Wedding Barn. We were so lucky with the weather as it was raining most of the day but the sun just came out for a few minutes before the sunset. We used that to get a few golden hour couple shots-perfect timing.

The wedding day finished with the cutting of the cake and the first dance. And of course, some crazy dance floor moves by the bride and groom and all their wedding guests. But don't take my word for it, just look at the photos!

Oxon Hoath Wedding Photography

Oh, how I enjoyed being an Oxon Hoath wedding photographer! Oxon Hoath is such a beautiful wedding venue. In my opinion one of the best wedding venues in Kent. It is simply perfect for wedding photography with its beautiful grounds and gorgeous exteriors as well as interiors.

As I am a wedding photographer based in Kent it was even better to know that the wedding photography on the day will take place close to home, which is always great. Kent is such a lovely county for wedding photography with so many wedding venues to choose from. No wonder it is called the garden of England.

Oxon Hoath-a beautiful wedding venue in Kent

Oxon Hoath is just one of those wedding venues that offer a truly complete package for anyone planning a wedding in Kent.

This Grade II* listed Châteauesque-style former manor house is as gorgeous outside as it is inside. It has many beautifully decorated large rooms. All of them with good size windows letting in a lot of light, which is just perfect for wedding photography in Kent.

The 73 acre Oxon Hoath estate with its beautiful gardens and views all the way to the horizon completes this stunning wedding venue so well.

Oxon Hoath Wedding Day

The wedding of Tracey and James I had a pleasure to photograph at Oxon Hoath was everything I love about weddings. Bride and groom celebrating their love surrounded by a bunch of fun-loving wedding guests.

We actually started the photography on the day with the groom and his groomsmen and a few other friends doing a few laps at a nearby go-karting race track. It was so much fun to witness and photograph.

Later we continued with getting ready photos of the bride and her bridesmaids. Not missing the moment where the father of the bride sees her for the first time in her wedding dress. Must be one of my favourite happy and emotional parts of the wedding day.

The theme of the wedding, as clearly seen from the photos, was lots of fun and colour. Just check all the balloons around the staircase and during the wedding ceremony! There were many extra activities for the wedding guests, with a bouncy castle being favourite!

The wedding ceremony was beautiful and moving. The confetti was so much fun. The wedding breakfast was delicious and the speeches personal and emotional. The love was in the air!

Alternative Wedding Photographer London

I love being a London alternative wedding photographer! Its so much fun photographing weddings that are a bit different from your standard wedding setup. Weddings that are a bit different, more hip and edgy but still focused on what's most important in all this, the love and connection between two people tying the knot as well as their family and friends!

It just makes it so much more special when the bride and groom want to organise their wedding day in more original and true to themselves way.

It's weddings like this that have more personality in them, reflecting who the newlyweds are and what they like and represent.

And what better way city to organise a wedding like that in than London. London has just so much to offer for anyone looking to organise a more alternative wedding or looking for an alternative wedding photographer.

Especially a little bit outside of central London, where old canals and industrial areas are being refurbished and modernised. That in result makes them trendy ann desirable often creating a perfect for anyone looking to plan a wedding that is slightly different and more personal.

Stratford Wedding Photographer

Last summer's awesome wedding of Fang and Jamie in Stratford in East London was just a perfect example of that. When the bride and groom to be got in touch with me asking whether I'd be interested in photographing a bit more alternative London wedding the answer could only be one: hell yea!

And what a great and different wedding it was! Just perfect to blow a bit of freshness to my London wedding photography portfolio.

The whole day took place on a barge on one of East London canals in Hackney Wick called Barge East. The post-industrial area is now so full of life with new projects sprouting all around, from Olimpic village stadiums to new blocks of flats right by the water.

Barge East Wedding

The whole wedding day photography on and around Barge East was just perfect. The bride and groom to be both started early preparing the wedding venue for the day with a help of a few wedding guests.

All the wedding decorations were full of personal touches, the balloons, the flowers and also the cake.

The bride's outfit was also more on a non-traditional side. Instead of a typical wedding dress, she wore a two-piece outfit with awesome pants, wide enough to look like a dress anyway!

The wedding ceremony took place on a lawn nearby, right by the canal, with people and barges passing bay and waving to the newlyweds. The wedding day weather was nice and crisp, and also quite windy. Just perfect for a wind swept hair in the wedding photos.

Most of the wedding day like drinks reception, first dance, wedding breakfast and cake cutting took place on the Barge East itself. Luckily we did manage to sneak out for a few photos with the bride and groom in the area. It was great using the canal as well as local art and architecture as a backdrop to the love and connection between Fang and Jamie.

Oh, and we even managed to borrow a canoe fro next-door neighbour Moo Canoes for a few photos of the newlyweds canoeing through the canal (with a close encounter with a massive barge too!).

Last summer I had an enormous pleasure of being the Swan at Shakespeare's Globe wedding photographer. The Swan at Shakespeare's Globe is such a beautiful London wedding venue. It is perfectly situated on the south bank of the River Thames.

The room in which the wedding ceremonies take place, as well as the wedding breakfast and wedding disco, is the Balcony Room. It has a beautiful balcony overlooking the Thames and St. Paul's cathedral, as well as Millenium Bridge to the left and the Southwark Bridge to the right. It is hard to imagine a better setting if you are looking for a perfect London wedding venue for small to middle size wedding. With the light streaming in through the large windows, The Swan at Shakespeare's Globe makes for an ideal backdrop to wedding photos.

London Wedding Photographer at the Swan at the Globe

As a wedding photographer at Shakespeares Globe in London, I approached the wedding photography on the day in a typical Blue Lily Weddings style.

I simply focused on photographing the wedding day as it unfolded. The goal was to document all the big moments as well as the small ones in an authentic and emotional way. To capture all the love and the fun of the wedding day. As well as beautiful and relaxed portraits of the bride and groom.

In the end, the bride and groom received a set of wedding photos telling the complete story of the wedding day. By looking through them they were able to relive the day in vivid detail, bringing back the memories and the emotions. They were also able to see all the moments of the day that they would otherwise missed.

The Swan at Shakespeare's Globe Wedding Venue

The Swan at Shakespeare's Globe is truly a perfect London wedding venue for anyone looking to get married in such a location.

The setting couldn't be better or more central. Shakespeare's Globe is situated right by the river Thames. That gives a nice feeling of space with The Balcony Room overlooking the Thames and Millenium Bridge as well as the beautiful and grand St.Pauls Cathedral. Interestingly, I have photographed another wedding at St. Pauls just a few weeks later!

The Swan's Balcony Room is perfect for wedding photographs, bright and airy with beautiful views. It can hold a wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast and disco for up to 70 guests.

For larger weddings, the Shakespeare's Globe offers the dramatic Underglobe which can accommodate for up to 350 guests. It has a full-size model oak tree as well as a grand sweeping staircase, ideal for a grand entrance!

Wedding Day Photography at Shakespeare's Globe

The wedding day of Jen and Aaron at the Globe was just perfect and such a joy to photograph. We started the wedding day photography with some getting ready photos of the bride. Jen was accompanied by her bridesmaids as well as the proud mother nad the father of the bride.

After that is was off the Swan at the Globe, where the wedding guests were already gathering. They were greeted by the groom as well as his best men and ushers.

The wedding ceremony took place in the balcony room. After that everyone moved downstairs for the drinks reception when the ceremony room was quickly changed for the wedding breakfast.

After the meal, there were some very funny and equally moving speeches by the father of the bride, the groom and his best men.

The wedding photography finished with the traditional cake cutting, the first dance as well as some crazy dancefloor moves!

In between the official parts we managed to sneak out with the bride and groom take some beautiful photos of just the two of them while strolling along the Thames South Bank Tate Modern and Millenium Bridge.

Thank you, Jen and Aaron, for letting me document your beautiful wedding day. It was a true honour and pleasure!

Northbrook Park is such a beautiful place to get married if you are looking to tie the knot in Surrey. It has some beautiful grounds with lots of greenery and a gorgeous lake. As well as a great choice of rooms for getting ready before the wedding as well as for the wedding ceremony and reception and wedding breakfast.

This grade II listed 18th-century manor house is perfectly situated just a short drive away from London and it has a capacity to host weddings for up to 250 guests.

Photographing a wedding at Northbrook Park is a true joy for a wedding photographer. The grounds make for a perfect photography backdrop all year round. The goal was as always to create a set of beautiful photographs documenting the story of the wedding day. The set of photos that will make anyone looking through them feel as if they were there. Bringing all the love, joy and fun of the wedding day back to life.

Nothing staged - just pure emotional storytelling!

Northbrook Park Indian Wedding

I love photographing Indian weddings or weddings with elements of Indian tradition in them. Just recently this year I photographed an absolutely beautiful wedding in Delhi in India and enjoy the experience so much. The old and rich traditions, the beautiful colours, the focus on family and connection as well as delicious Indian food-my favourite cuisine!

One of the things I loved the most about this Northbrook Park Indian-Western wedding is how it combined two different cultures in a beautiful and seamless way. As it can be seen clearly from the photos the wedding had strong elements of Indian tradition like wedding ceremony and delicious food. As well as more traditional western elements like white wedding dress worn by the bride and a wedding suit worn by the groom for the second part of the wedding celebrations.

Surrey Wedding Photographer

The whole wedding day celebrations at Northbrook Park were such a joy to photograph. As I met the bride and groom for the day before, I knew it will be a relaxed day full of love and laughter and many beautiful traditions.

Vita decided to book me as their wedding photographer after she saw the photos I took of her friend's pre-wedding shoot. We also did an engagement photo shoot prior to the wedding day with her and Kunal.  Then we had a chance to get to know each other a bit and create beautiful photographs at the same time. They are such a great couple down to earth, always up for a laugh (Kunal's laughter being very contagious!) and so much in love.

Northbrook Park Wedding Day Photography

We started the Northbrook Park wedding day photography with a few photos of the venue itself as well as the surrounding grounds. It is such a photogenic place with the beautiful fields, ponds and trees surrounding it as well as the ivy climbing up the walls adding another dimension to this stunning Surrey wedding venue. Another great thing is all the duck and peacocks strolling around not bothered by all the wedding activities. As well as the beautiful gardens with statues and colourful blooming flowers.

After a few shots of the wedding venue of I was to take a few photos of the bride getting ready and a few details. I also managed to snap a few shots of Kunal before the ceremony, in great spirit as usual!

The wedding ceremony was based on Indian traditions and was simply beautiful, full of colour, love and laughter. After that, we did the traditional group family photos as well as a few ones with just the bride and groom in them. Starting in the Indian outfits and later on in the white wedding dress and suit.

Next was the cake cutting (check the duck photobombing the shot!) and the traditional Indian wedding dance performances. First by the bride and groom family members and then by their friends. Such a joy for the eyes and ears to witness.

The wedding breakfast Indian food certainly didn't disappoint. It was full of colour and flavour with just the right amount of heat!

The wedding celebrations continued with touching and fun speeches by the father of the bride as well as the groom, followed by the brother of the bride and a few friends adding a few words as well. And so many hugs and kisses after that!

The evening finished for me after catching some dancefloor action with DJ playing a mixture of modern hits and throwing a bit of an Indian vibe to it, a perfect blend!

Thank you, Vita and Kunal for letting me document your beautiful wedding day. A true honour and pleasure and so much fun!

The Lost Orangery at the Euridge Manor Wedding

'Oh my goodness these are absolutely stunning! You’ve managed to capture all the emotion, happiness and drama of the day - thank you so much!'
'Just wanted to say a BIG thank you for capturing so many invaluable moments for us, even the unbelievably obscure ones like my nephew on the trampoline during my speech!'

Euridge Manor Wedding Photographer

Ah, finally I get to blog one of my favourites wedding of the year, the big day of Isabel and Rob at The Lost Orangery at the Euridge Manor in Cotswolds! It was such an honour and pleasure and so much fun to photograph this absolutely beautiful Wiltshire wedding.

Over last ten years I've had a pleasure of photographing over 200 weddings in London, Wiltshire, Cotswolds and all over the UK and abroad. I have seen so many beautiful wedding venues whether they were grand city buildings or impressive country estates or rustic barns.

When it comes to The Lost Orangery at the Euridge Manor, it must be right there at the top of my list. When I saw this stunning Cotswolds wedding venue for the first time I have to admit it took my breath away.

It is truly something out of a fairy tale. Gorgeous architecture, beautifully landscaped gardens and of course the water features. With its breathtaking boat lake with its turquoise green water, white ducks and grotto with columns and arches at the end it looks more like wedding venue somewhere in Italy or in a Disney movie! Especially with the views and the rolling hills all the way to the horizon.

All of this paired with an absolutely stunning bride and groom and good number fun-loving wedding guests created a gorgeous wedding day I will not forget anytime soon!

Cotswolds Wedding Photography

As a Cotswolds wedding photographer, I approached this Euridge Manor Wedding in the typical Blue Lily Weddings style. I photographed things as they unfolded, focusing on those precious moments of love and connection between the happy couple and their close ones. At the same time, I documented the grandeur of the Euridge Manor wedding venue and all the gorgeous surroundings and details so beautifully prepared and arranged by all the wedding team involved.

The bride and groom, as well as their families and wedding guests, created a wedding day filled with love and fun. But don't take my word for it, check the short photo selection from this beautiful Wiltshire wedding below!

Most Beautiful Cotswolds Wedding Venue

Euridge Manor must be one of the most beautiful and unique wedding venues in the whole of the UK. That is clearly visible when looking through the photos from Rob and Isabel's wedding. But even more so when you visit Euridge Manor yourself, taking in all the fairytale beauty of the place.

The Euridge House and Orangery lies right amongst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds, just outside the quintessentially English village of Castle Combe. This exclusive self-catering venue hosts weddings, parties and corporate events.

Euridge Manor wedding venue is surrounded by '450 acres of private grounds, featuring Georgian-style architecture, sparkling water features, evergreen palm trees, a crumbling castle, exquisite topiary, rose gardens, lawns, cloisters, archways, a thatched boat house – and so much more. Ours is a space for escaping the everyday, for celebrating the extraordinary, and for watching the magic unfold.
This is what dreams are made of.'

With all its spaces and rooms available for wedding ceremonies, wedding breakfasts and celebrations, Euridge Manor can host any kind of wedding. From 40 people ceremonies around the cloister to over 200 guests in the ballroom. And up to 300 guests for wedding celebrations in the marquee in the lawns.

Wiltshire Wedding Photographer

I feel so lucky to be able to document so many beautiful weddings in Wiltshire and all around the UK and abroad. This recent one in Euridge Manor in Cotswolds was a great example of what a beautiful wedding should be about. Which is the celebration of the love and connection between the bride and groom and their close ones.

The bride and groom on the day were Isabel and Rob. I knew it is going to be a special day as we met a couple of times before. For the first time was at James and Annie's wedding in Lincolnshire  (which can be found here) where Robs was James's best man. Then we met again at their more intimate London wedding ceremony in the Old Marylebone Town Hall. After that, I was certain they are the kind of wedding couple I most enjoy working with. So much in love and centred around strong family values. And most importantly two super nice people who know how to celebrate their wedding day in style!

Wedding Day at Euridge Manor

We started the photography on the day with a few photos of the wedding venue with the surrounding area, the buildings and all the beautiful details. Then I was off to see the groom and his best man and ushers. So a few photos with the boys and off to see the bride and her bridesmaids. I always spend a bit more time with the girls and it was great those moments of applying the final touches and the build-up before the wedding ceremony.

The wedding ceremony took place around The Euridge Manor boathouse. The wedding guests were situated all around the lake overlooking the ceremony and the beautiful rolling hills of Cotswolds as the backdrop. It was beautiful and touching.

After the ceremony we managed to take a few quick photos of the bride and groom while the guests were lining up for the confetti shot. Then it was time for the drinks reception in the lawns and a few formal groups photos. The bride and groom sure made them fun as the music from the string quartet played softly in the background.

The wedding breakfast took place in the majestic ballroom. The wedding speeches by the father of the bride, the groom and the beat man were just perfect, emotional and full of laughter. Even the father of the groom had his say as the master of the ceremonies!

The wedding day was definitely a windy one and it wasn't easy for the bride and groom to manoeuvre the boat around the turquoise lake fighting the gale. Luckily, everyone managed to stay dry!

The rest of the day went in a joyful atmosphere. The first dance, as well as the party afterwards, were a pleasure to photograph. It was so much fun seeing the groom running the bar and pouring all sorts of liqueurs straight from the bottle into the guest's mouth!

The fire pits and the wood oven pizza kept the wedding guests warm throughout the evening.

Thank you, Rob and Isabel, for letting me document your special day. It was a true honour and pleasure, and so much fun! x

Sopley Mill Wedding

Sopley Mill Wedding Photographer

Sopley Mill is such a great wedding venue. As a Dorset wedding photographer, I enjoyed taking wedding photos there so much. And with the bride and groom being so welcoming on their wedding day I could hardly feel I'm at work!

Wedding Photography Dorset

Being a wedding photographer in Dorset is always a great pleasure. Dorset is one of my favourite counties for wedding photography. It has a beautiful coastline and gorgeous countryside which always make for great backdrops to wedding photos. It also has a good number of beautiful wedding venues. One of them, the Sopley Mill, was our venue for the wedding of Andy and Becky, a super nice and relaxed bride and groom.

Natural Wedding Photography at Sopley Mill

I approached my wedding photography at Sopley Mill in my signature Blue Lily Weddings style. The wedding day was captured in an unobtrusive, documentary style. I let the bride and groom and their wedding guest have fun and enjoy their day. I was there as their wedding photographer to document it in a natural way. No posing or staging, only a bit of guiding during the formal group photos and the bride and groom shots to create a relaxed vibe and make everyone looks their best.

This way we were able to create a set of wedding photos that tells the full story of the wedding day in a beautiful and true way. The goal, as always, was for the bride and groom be transported to those moments feeling as they were there. By looking through those pictures they will be able to relive their wedding day in vivid detail.

Sopley Mill Wedding Venue

Sopley Mill is such a gorgeous wedding venue situated right in the heart of Dorset countryside. It is just perfect for anyone looking to get married in Dorset. It also makes for a great backdrop to wedding photos.

Sopley Mill is a renovated mill, a beautiful red brick building surrounded from both sides by river Avon. The river even runs through it!

As soon as you arrive at Sopley Mill you are surrounded by water meadows stretching all the way to the woods on the horizon. During the wedding there were horses running around wildly through them, just take a look at the photos!

It has quite a few rooms to accommodate the needs of anyone looking to organise small to a middle size wedding.

There is the Avon suite for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready in. On the middle floor, there is the wedding ceremony room with windows overlooking surrounding Dorset fields. This room is later transformed into a room where the evening party takes place.

The top room, with the best views, is where the wedding breakfast takes place.

The ground floor is with some original old mill features hosts a bar and is great for the drinks reception.

There is also a large lawn area outside where kids could run around and wedding guests played wedding games, always a fun part to photograph at a wedding.

Wedding Photography at the best Dorset Wedding Venue

The bride and groom on the day were Becky and Andy. Together with their wedding guests, they made me feel very welcomed. The atmosphere at the wedding was very relaxed, filled with joy and laughter.

We started photography with a few photos of the wedding venue and the surrounding countryside. Then the photos continued in the getting ready, Avon room, where the bride was applying finishing touches in the company of her bridesmaids as well as the mother of the bride. What was great is a lot of personal touches throughout the day. One of them being the bride making her own bouquet. She is quite a florist!

The ceremony was beautiful and touching. The drinks reception was shortly after, which followed by the wedding breakfast. What made the wedding meal special was that the theme was an English picnic and the food was served in traditional picnic baskets.

I also loved the personal touches, like the table plan made out of different herbs, still growing in their pots and fully edible! The wedding speeches by the father of the bride, the groom and the best man were beautiful and moving as well as very funny!

In the evening Sopley Mill was beautifully lit creating almost a festive atmosphere, such a stunning Dorset wedding venue!

Thank you so much, Becky and Andy, for letting me document your beautiful Dorset wedding at the gorgeous Sopley Mill. It has been a true honour and pleasure, and so much fun!

Chelsea Old Town Hall Wedding Photography

Finally, I found a bit of time to post this awesome Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding I photographed on a beautiful Summer's day in London. When the bride and groom on the day called me beforehand and asked whether I would like to be their Chelse Old Town Hall wedding photographer, the answer could only be one. Of course!

I love wedding photography at the Chelsea Old Town Hall, it is such a beautiful building and it's location couldn't be more perfect. Just ideal for anyone who would like to get married in central London. I photographed many small to medium size weddings at this beautiful London wedding venue, and always love coming back.

Chelse Old Town Hall- London wedding venue

Chelse Old Town Hall is such a great choice if one wants to tie the knot in central London and wishes to create beautiful wedding photography in London.

The beautiful Grade II listed, late Victorian building is so beautiful, with its impressive facade and gorgeous steps walking out right onto the famous King's Road in Chelsea. These are just perfect for the confetti shot as well as a few official group photos after the ceremony. Right outside its door, it's the typical business and traffic of central London, with so many upmarket shops and high-quality pubs and restaurants. Many of them perfect to organise the wedding dinner right after the wedding ceremony at the Chelsea Register Office.

A few of them I would highly recommend that I photographed weddings at is the Ivy and the Bluebird. It's at the Bluebird that the bride and groom of this wedding hosted their wedding dinner for the closest family and friends. It took place in the Bluebird's function room overlooking the main restaurant giving a lovely view as well as lots of privacy for the wedding party.

I have to admit that inside the Old Chelsea Town Hall is just as impressive as on the outside. Especially after it was renovated now at the beginning of 2019. The beautiful Marble columns, high vaulted ornate ceilings and dark wood panelled walls.

All of this gives this London wedding venue and register office an atmosphere of grandeur and sophistication. Such a nice backdrop for

Chelsea Old Town Hall Rooms

Chelsea Old Town Hall now offers different rooms for your wedding needs, those include:

Main Hall

Late Victorian neo-classical architecture with its vaulted ceilings, marble columns, sprung wooden floor and cove lighting. The venue boasts original oil paintings and ornate wooden panelling and ironwork.

Cadogan Suite

The newly refurbished Cadogan Suite has recently been transformed into an intimate function room featuring an eclectic blend of contemporary and modern décor with the adjoining Ante Room which is perfect for a small breakout session or drinks reception.

Anti Room

The anti-room sits adjacent to Cadogan Room and is perfectly placed to receive guests for registration before a meeting/event or refreshment during the day.  It is equally suited to an intimate wedding ceremony after which the wedding breakfast or drinks may be hosted in the main room.  Together these rooms offer a host of flexible opportunities for the smooth running of tailored events.

The Chelsea Register Office Rooms

The Chelsea Register Office offers 3 different rooms for anyone looking to organise their civil ceremony there:

Chelsea Old Town Hall wedding by London Wedding Photographer

The wedding of Chloe and Jonny was almost as London as a wedding can be. We covered so many different London Landmarks as locations and backdrops for our photos. It was such a great day!

The getting ready wedding photography started at the Shard. Until not so long ago the highest building in Europe, and still the highest one in the UK. As soon as I went into the room I saw the stunning views over the whole of London. With river Thames, Tower Bridge and London Bridge Station all below us.

After a few photos off we were to the Chelsea Old Town Hall for the wedding ceremony in the Chelse Register Office Brydon Room. The father and mother of the bride and groom were already there, as well as more family members and close friends.

The vows were beautiful and after the exchange of the rings and the first kiss we had the confetti shot outside as well as a few semi-formal group photos on the Chelse Old Town Hall steps.

Then we whisked off to the nearby Albert Bridge for a couple of photos with the bride and groom. It was so much fun to photograph those two simply being themselves! From the bridge, we went to Battersea Park for more photos. It must be one of my favourite parks in London to take wedding pictures, right by the river Thames.

After the park, we drove to Tower Bridge to get a photo with the bridge being up. Such a great photo moment for the happy couple.

We finished the wedding day photography almost where we started, by the London Bridge Station. That's where the evening party took place, right by the bridge, at the London Grind.

So we took a few photos of the speeches, the first dance at the cake cutting (awesome cheese board!).

The evening finished with a lot of crazy moves on the dancefloor, what a crazy and beautiful day it was.

Thank you Chloe and Jonny, for letting Blue Lily Weddings document your awesome London wedding!

hedingham castle wedding bride and groom posing with an owl

Hedingham Castle Wedding

Hedingham Castle Wedding Photographer

The recent wedding at Hedingham Castle in Essex I had a pleasure to photograph was so much fun!

Hedingham Castle is such a beautiful and unique wedding venue, no wonder it won quite a few awards for the best wedding venue in Essex. As soon as the bride and groom contacted me asking whether I wanted to photograph their wedding at Hedingham Castle I was like: yes, please!

The bride and groom on the day, Vicky and Craig, asked me to photograph their wedding in a pure documentary approach, which I was very happy to deliver. There was not even a couple shoot or any of the formal wedding group shots!

When photographing this beautiful wedding at Hedingham Castle I was shooting in my signature Blue Lily Weddings style. I documented things as they happened without intrusion letting the bride and groom, as well as their wedding guest, simply enjoy themselves. This way I could catch genuine moments with nothing being staged.

The goal was as always to create a set of beautiful wedding images telling a complete story of the day. I focused on making sure everyone looks great and catching all the interactions between the bride and groom as well as their wedding party and all the wedding guests.

This way we were able to create a set of photos that the couple will be proud to put in their wedding album as well as frames they can hang on the walls. These wedding photos will make them relive their wedding day and bring them back to those beautiful moments and emotions they felt on the day.

Looking for an Essex (or beyond!) wedding photographer?

Hedingham Castle Wedding Photos

Here is a selection of eighty-something wedding photos from this gorgeous Essex wedding at Hedingham Castle, enjoy!

Hedingham Castle-One of the Best Essex Wedding Venues

So a little bit more about the stunning wedding venue for the day -the Hedingham Castle. I have to admit I have always been a big fan of all sorts of castles and fortresses and this one is a prime example of it. The only thing that could have completed it is a dragon perching on the roof! It is simply perfect for anyone looking to get married in the area and looking for something special and with character.

The Hedingham Castle, located in the village of Castle Hedingham in Essex consist of two main parts. The whole wedding took place in the Norman Keep, which is the best-preserved structure of this type in England. The second part is the Georgian Mansion House surrounded by beautiful gardens.  The 900 year old Norman keep is right in the centre of a larger estate. It is right on a hill surrounded by woodland and lakes and acres of Essex countryside. Once you get to the top the view is simply breathtaking with fields and rolling hills all the way to the horizon.

It has five floors, all of which accessible via a spiral staircase. The day's wedding took place on the bottom three floors. The ceremony took place in the Banquetting Hall, the drinks reception and party took place in the main reception room and the wedding breakfast was downstairs in the basement/cellar part of the castle.

The Castle itself has a very rich history and featured in numerous films and TV programmes.

Autumn Essex Wedding Photography

We started our Hedingham Castle wedding photography on the day by getting some nice images of the venue and surrounding grounds. The wedding guests were gathering for drinks before the ceremony in the stunning reception hall. The groom and his groomsmen were all wearing kilts on the day. That,  in my opinion, looked great and added to the overall vibe of the day.

After a few minutes, the guest gathered in the Main Hall for the wedding ceremony. Soon, Vicky, the bride arrived with her bridesmaids and entered the Hall, such an impressive room spanning over two stories.

The wedding ceremony was just beautiful with the highlight being the wedding ring delivery. It was done by a beautiful white owl which has flown from a second-floor balcony.

After the ceremony it was drinks and everyone getting merry. Then everyone went outside where alongside the ring-bearer owl were other birds of prey. It was so much fun seeing wedding guests interacting with the birds. Especially when Craig, the groom, was petting the falcon with his beard!

The wedding breakfast took place in the downstairs hall. It was set up in true medieval fashion, with metal wine goblets and torches on the walls. It really felt like a wedding feast of a King and Queen!

The food was delicious and after that, the wedding speeches were just as they should be moving and funny with lots of laughter and tears.

After that, the newlyweds cut the cake. The rest of the wedding took place upstairs with the first dance and the wedding party to the tunes of a wedding DJ. We finished the day off with the girls showing some serious moves on the dancefloor. At the same time, the groom and his friends went outside to smoke cigars and play football on the balcony.

Truly a special day for everyone who gathered!
