Chloe and Leigh's recent Pitt Hall Barn wedding was so much fun! They are just such an amazing couple, so easy going and always up for a laugh. We clicked pretty much instantly when we did our engagement couple shoot few months ago around Clapham in London  (an awesome pub crawl!). Because of that I knew it is going to be an enjoyable and fun-filled celebration.

We started with the groom's preparations at a nearby pub. Leigh was getting ready in a company of his best man and brother, as well as his parents. We snapped a few shots and had a few laughs. You just have to love Leigh's flamingo-banana socks as well as his percussion cufflinks (as you may guess he is a passionate drummer). His brother, being a carpenter had a level matching cufflinks as well!

Then off we went to the Pitt Hall Barn wedding venue. Located in the beautiful Hampshire countryside and surrounded by 2500 acres of stunning rural landscape, the barn offered a perfect backdrop for the wedding. So a few photos of Chloe getting ready, guests gathering and the ceremony was about to begin.

I have to mention that Chloe looked like a stunning modern fairy tale princess, with her ginger hair and beautiful Mywony dress.

The original plan was for the ceremony to take place in a nearby woods, which was an absolutely beautiful setup. Unfortunately, it started to rain just before and everyone was moved to the barn itself. Luckily the rain didn't last long and just as the ceremony finished, the sun came out. This enabled us to stroll back to the woods and do some group shots as well as bubble confetti and a few pics of the couple themselves. I just love the dramatic dark skies in some of them!

Another really special thing about the wedding was that Leigh and Chloe are both musicians. Chloe mainly doing vocals and Leigh on drums. Although Chloe did the percussion justice as well when she smashed a few songs. Many of the guests were also with music background, which created absolutely electric atmosphere during the party. Different friends were performing one after another and the crowd was just going crazy!

Chloe and Leigh, thank you so much guys! x

Froyle Park Wedding Photography

Jonathan and Rhoda's Froyle Park wedding! It was the one I was looking forward to photographing for a long time.

I met the couple some time ago to chat about the wedding and get to know each other. Therefore I knew it was going to be a great day in a good company. Jonathan and Rhoda are just such an amazing couple. Beautiful inside and outside, humble and warm. They made me feel so welcome at their Froyle Park wedding, I could hardly feel I'm at work!

Best Hampshire Wedding Venue

If I was to choose the best Hampshire wedding venue, Froyle Park would definitely be on top of the list. As I  photographed there before, I knew it is going to be a good one. Fortunately, the weather was mostly on our side and the ceremony took place in a gorgeous outside setting. The couple said they vowes surrounded by family and friends as well as rolling countryside hills with cute sheep strolling around. There were friends playing instruments and singing creating a beautiful ambience for everyone gathered.

The ceremony was conducted by a good friend of the couple and was indeed quite original (in a good way!) and very personal. The favourite moment must have been when everyone was asked if they know of any reason why the couple shouldn't get married. At that moment the brother of the bride (who also gave her away) stood up and half pulled his military sword from the sheath with a loud distinct sound. I almost dropped my camera laughing, what a priceless moment!

The rest of the day was equally great with super high bouquet toss (impressive throw Rhoda!), mouth-watering African food and crazy synchronised dancefloor moves. And of course, the speeches, some 8 of them if I remember correctly. Few of them had some memorable dance entrance walks and tears and laughter lasted for a good hour!

Also, a big respect for the video guy Junior. Not only was he a pleasure to work with, but he was able to record for hours supporting about 20lb of equipment just with his biceps. Can't wait to see the whole footage mate!

Thank you, Jonathan and Rhoda. It has been a true pleasure to document your beautiful wedding! x

Missenden Abbey Wedding Photography

The happy couple on this glorious day at Missenden Abbey in Buckinghamshire were Miao and Richard. We met a few months before when we did our engagement photo shoot in central London. Because of that, I knew from their cheerful and easy-going personalities that we will all be up for a day filled with laughter and celebration!

Missenden Abbey wedding photography was simply a pleasure for me. The 12th-century historic building made for a perfect venue, with vaulted ceilings and dramatic landscape surrounding it.

As usual, I arrived early, checking the area and getting some nice landscape shots on the way. As the first guests were arriving we got few getting ready shots of both bride and groom getting ready in separate rooms of the abbey.

What was very special about this wedding is that Miao designed and commissioned her own wedding dress. That in result led to her and Richard starting their own business of affordable made to measure wedding dresses.

'It all started when Miao was looking for her wedding dress. She wanted a dress that was beautiful, fitted her well and did not cost a fortune. It turned out the ideal dress she was searching for simply did not exist. So, she started Aneberry to help brides like her find that ideal dress.'

If you are looking for your ideal wedding dress you can check their website aneberry.com.

Miao looked absolutely stunning in her dress and I couldn't recommend these guys highly enough!

The whole wedding day in and around Missenden Abbey passed in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. The grounds were just beautiful and made for a great backdrop for the couple shoot. We even got some fun ones with merry guests photobombing us! Also recreating some old photos when some of the guests were just small kids.

The day finished with a crazy party with a live band playing some classic tunes and a beautiful sparkler send off.

Thank you so much guys! x
